We went and got the TPS Motorsports C6 Z06 Long Tubes and catted X Pipe, AFE Intake, SCT Custom Tuning done on the dyno yesterday. This was a Dynojet 249 with SAE corrected numbers.
We originally were going to do a compare with the AFE Magnum Force and the SLP Blackwing intakes. The SLP uses the stock throttle body hose and clamps where as the AFE supplies its own. The AFE went on first before we went to the dyno and we didnt have the stock one with us so we couldnt get a compare done. We will be back on the dyno next week for an accurate compare with a same day scenario. We stopped the tuning when we realized that the other hose was missing and were at 508 RW / 473 Trq so there may be a little more to be had. We will post back up with the data, pics, and video next week. I will say I like how the AFE Intake looks.
Stock #’s were – 460 rw / 424 tq
TPS Headers and Catted pipe. No tuning – 478 rw / 442 tq
TPS with Intake and SCT custom tune so far – 508 rw / 473 tq
