SSi customer Jerrod C installed the SPD Performance Ported Manifolds on his 2016 F150 3.5 Ecoboost and the results are clear. Not as Advertised and is Certainly Very Bad $$$ Spent! POWER LOST!

Jerrod went ahead and got these ported manifolds from SPD Performance who advided him 20 plus RW HP gain.  Well the first thing is you need to know is that the turbo oil lines need to be replaced which wasn’t conveyed to Jerrod as well as the $1100.00 plus installation cost. Jerrod went ahead and still got it done.  Jerrod went to the dyno today and did a compare from his previous run about a week ago. Today with the ported manifolds it was in the low 70’s compared to 80 degree temps done with no manifolds so the SPD Ported Manifold runs had the advantage. Both runs were done at operating temps so it would be as accurate as possible to show true merit.  The tune didn’t change so it was a true bolt on comparison. Basically he lost trq and horsepower thru out the whole dyno graph which explains when he drove it home after the install he didn’t feel a difference.  We just want to give anyone thinking about this mod from SPD Performance a heads up not to buy this product!!
